Iron Creek Bay Estate is a rural accommodation destination in Port Arthur, Tasmania, with private rooms designed for both short stays and longer visits. Iron Creek Bay Estate also has a substantial agricultural and cultural history. The property was originally established by the Denholm family, whose connection with the area began in 1834, and has previously supported sheep, cattle, dairying and vineyards. The Tao family purchased the property in 2016 and began building the estate in 2018, later planting 10,000 cherry trees along with strawberries, plums, apples and apricots, as well as maintaining grape production. The estate protects two certified Aboriginal Heritage sites around Flinty Point, including a stone quarry and a shell midden associated with the Mumirimina people. Sustainability is part of the development too, with solar power, recycled and locally sourced timber, grey-water reuse, rainwater storage and rain gardens included across the property.
