Its history adds context to the stay: the property was originally built as accommodation for Hydro Electric Commission workers during the Pieman River Power Development, and Tullah itself grew from a mining and construction town. The current Tasmanian owners have operated the business since late 2009, improving the gardens, renovating rooms and adding the function centre.
